Developing a Template for Sharing on Social Media

Slide of citation information for Saiyed et al (2025) published in Frontiers in Public Health

For years, I have wanted to develop a template for sharing recently published research on social media. While I do love sharing pics of the front page of the article- I wanted something that was a little more catchy- something that could sort of be branded with colors. I also needed something that would scale up to multiple images. Or just be one image with more information and a link posted. I have developed this template, which I think is a good start.

I modified a Canva template (it is called Blue Modern Post Carousel Tips LinkedIn Carousel by Kristine Valberg Design). I focused on one type of slide and removed the rest of the slides/pages. Overall, I think it gets the job done. It is a bit limited because its portrait mode- so sharing tables and figures is a bit harder. But I could always switch up the color scheme and keep the same format. So far, pleased with this.
